“Beautiful experience to stay overnight at this spiritual site.”

Unique spiritual experience and highly recommend staying overnight or, in our case, 2 nights at this special hourly to enjoy the monastery’s peace and tranquility after the day visitors have left. When staying at the hotel you receive a pass to visit the church at any time. Also an extended stay enables sufficient time to take a number of walks and hikes in the area. The restaurant is a huge treat, exceptional service, crisp white table cloths and simple wholesome local food and wine selections. Some produce from the monastery.

The hotel is literally across the street from the basilica. The hotel provides an admission ticket to tour the Basilica.

The parking in Montserrat is insane! We needed to drop off our luggage then go down to find street parking. Fortunately it was late in the afternoon so most of the tourists had left.

The best

Honestly to be in such a location is worth every penny you pay. The hotel was on the older side but it added to the charm. I would recommend at least two nights to be able explore Montserrat.
