Hotel AG Express Elche

Rock hard beds, air con not working (when reported no apology) and just a very very basic hotel. The cafe is ok but staff could have at least had a smile on their face. Handy for airport - only good thing. Have left feeling like haven’t slept at all!

Stayed here after a late flight into Alicante airport. Picked our hire car up, then drove to this hotel, which is 10 minute drive from the airport. Check in easy, room very clean, similar to a travelodge in the uk. 24 hour restaurant, I had a croissant and coffee in the morning, which was lovely. The only negative was the beds, they were very hard and not very comfortable

I recommend this HOTEL highly. Under rated, excellent position. Fantastic staff, restuarant is very good with very friendly staff. In General prices are good, All future stays in this area I'll be staying here

Room was very comfortable. Very clean. Secure parking right outside the hotel. The restaurant is open 24/7 self service, didnt eat there but looked ok. Good coffee in the morning. We didnt eat in the morning but if we had, choice of breakfast looked good. Bar very strict closing time of 11:00pm. Staff helpful and friendly. Because of the situation on the motorway it took about 15 mins to get there but very easy drive.

Be aware that you need to walk 380 m via a very light weigh foot bridge across the highway to get to the hotel if you arrive from South and driving towards Alicante/Alicante Airport. When you are driving after “Maps” it will direct you to a small local access road under the highway - but the road is in quite bad conditions and it leads you to a locked gate. The hotel announces that you can park - but that is on the other side of the highway - and with the 380 meters walk. Customer service of no use.

Pre-flight stopover in a service station hotel. All very basic, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast (juice, roll and drink) was in the service area restaurant. Didn't really expect too much more, but no hot water after 7am on our stay was simply not acceptable.
