“Sadly not our best choice of accommodation”
The best

Location was lovely but the experience was lacking from our expectations. We got assistance with a vet appointment which worked very smoothly . Place was dog friendly as advertised.

To be improved

No atmosphere in communal lounge or dining area - no staff around much of the time - no facilities for drinks - luckily we had our own coffee and kettle. Food choice minimal. Breakfast basic . Didn’t feel like a hotel - more like a youth hostel.

“Exceptional”
The best

Perfect location. Beautiful surroundings. Each room has its own private terrace and is perfect for star gazing. No light pollution. Karen is extremely welcoming and friendly. Close to beautiful villages lovely walks. A perfect stay.

“Wonderful stay surrounded by nature”
The best

I loved everything about our stay at this hotel. The themed rooms and the contact with nature. The staff are absolutely brilliant and have a great eye for detail and hospitality. The waiter was very kind and anticipated our needs. Anyone with a plant based diet will likely eat a whole lot better here than anywhere else around. I was very impressed and satisfied with both our dinners here.

I cannot say anything I didn't like because I couldn't have wanted for anything more.
