The best

Great size room with really comfortable bed in lovely old building. Perfect location for exploring Carmona. Staff all very helpful. Underground car park on site easy to access.

To be improved

Breakfast expensive for the limited choices available but the hotel had been busy with delegates from conference in Seville. Asked for poached eggs but these were not cooked properly so couldn’t eat them. Shower head leaking and difficult to regulate water temperature.

Pool was nice. Large room but we did upgrade to a superior and was just bigger, not special.Good position, close to bars etc.

To be improved

Adjusting the shower was not easy. Told us the water in the mini bar was free, as we were checking out !

“Ok but wouldn’t stay again”
The best

The location was really good. The outside of the hotel and lobby were quite grand. Breakfast was in the basement, and there was ample choice. Staff were pleasant.

To be improved

It was quite run down. We had a room in a separate building, the lift was a bit dodgy, so we used the stairs. The hotel definitely needs a refurbishment. We discovered the following morning that a ceiling panel next to the air con unit was dripping badly and both the floor and wall were soaked, we thought there was a leak coming from the bathroom! Our camera bag (which we’d left on the floor) was wet through, as we weren’t aware of the problem with the leak, but fortunately the camera and lenses weren’t damaged. The car park is very tricky to negotiate as the entrance is very tight, but ample room once you’re in.
