“Our booking was not honored, and no refund was given despite no fault of ours.”

We initially chose the hotel because of the location and price were within our budget. However, our booking was not honored. We were not able to check in as the hotel was shut when we arrived. And no refund was provided despite us being told that a refund would be given.

Our booking was not honored. We were not able to check in as the hotel was shut when we arrived. All the phone numbers given in the booking confirmation as well as the number supplied on the hotel door did not work. We had to walk around the city in the middle of the night to find an alternative option. When we went back to follow up the next morning, we were told that it wasn't a fault of ours, due to the power cut they had to shut down, and that we would be given a refund, but we have not received anything so far.

“The receptionist was nice · Cons: Terribly, TERRIBLY cold. One of the windows would not close, and the weather outside was... well, just normal weather for Asturias. Windy, cold, rainy. I've never been so cold in a hotel in my life. Very, very poor breakfast (cheese, bread, coffee, that's about all). The reception is open until 2 pm, after that you should make a special request.”
