Our room had scaffolding outside with very dirty outside windows. Stuffy room. Poor soundproofing inside and out. Quite a long walk to the old town

“Location · Cons: Filthy windows, though having some work done, this room was not affected. Paid extra for the view, but windows where so dirty, you would have to open them to appreciate it and then it was noisy and quite smelly from the bins downstairs. Being checked in by some chap on a camera. 1st time. Much better to have a real person.”

“Paying parking across the street · Cons: There was no air conditioning, and construction was ongoing around the hotel. The scaffolding was at the window height, so we couldn’t even open the windows. Not very pleased.”

Bed was very hard and there was construction and scaffolding directly infront of the window, even though I specifically asked for a very quiet room with sea view. The staff did switch our room for the second night of our stay.

The location is great if you’re looking to stay near the seaside. Check-in was smooth via a machine, and the staff were very helpful.

To be improved

I didn’t like it because the rooms are not soundproof at all. You can hear everything, even the neighbours when they are sleeping 🥲
