“Very cosy and historical hotel in the historical city centre at a walking distance from the Port. You can admire the façade by a local architect. Rooms fill their role, but no AC. Regular breakfast. · Cons: No AC in the room we got. Ferrol is generally cool but it has some hot days, like the one we arrived. AC or another cooling device would have been nice.”

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Alda El Suizo during our visit to Ferrol. The location is excellent — right in the city center, with everything just a short walk away. It made exploring the old town, restaurants, and shops incredibly convenient. The room was above average: clean, spacious, and nicely furnished, with comfortable bedding and good natural light. It definitely exceeded our expectations for this category of hotel. Breakfast was decent — nothing fancy, but it had the basics and was enough to start the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. Overall, it’s a solid option for anyone looking for a central and comfortable place to stay in Ferrol. We’d definitely consider returning.

The Staff at the reception exceeding our expectations and they did their best to cover our needs. Breakfast was quite ok

To be improved

The air condition in our room was broken and it was warm enough although they did the best they could do and brought us a portable one and a fan to make the situation more affordable

The room that was provided to us at check in appeared to be remodeled, but it didn’t look like the one in our booking.

The air conditioning was broken in the room so we had to open our windows at night. The windows were very dirty.
