The bathroom was very tired looking. No aircon only a fan in the room, the room was very hot. The beds squeaked when you moved, this was very annoying.

“A friendly welcome but the hotel felt very basic.”

The welcome.was really friendly which always makes a big difference. The hotel had a good storage area for bikes.

To be improved

The reception area had an unpleasant odour. Bedrooms had been refurbished but the decor was really dour. The bathroom hadn’t been refurbished at the same time and felt very tired.

“Good location, very friendly staff, clean bed, good breakfast. · Cons: There was no air conditioner, I had to leave the windows open and it was LOUD due to the traffic . The balcony is nice but wasted, it can be cleaner and some chairs/table, or cloth drying rack, which would be very nice for a pilgrim.”
