Great evening with friends watching a tribute band. Good atmosphere and lovely food. Stayed overnight and the room was comfortable and clean.

We don’t know what happened, but the food in this place is normally inedible. However, we were persuaded to come for Valentine’s Day, and we don’t know what happened, but the food was like from fine dining restaurant. Congratulations!

Was advised this was a great place to eat well it wasn’t for us the service was very poor staff walking around not interested in the clients staff very poorly dressed kitchen staff looked like they needed a good wash presentation of restaurant none existent tables bare of place mats or cutlery and the food was hardly edible all of it was Cold the only thing warm was the plates although we did book a table late we were not advised the food was only served till 5 pm I never put a bad review on here but felt it was necessary to let people be aware

Attended for the Sunday carvery with 8 friends. Found the venue to be clean and welcoming. Carvery was served at 1pm, food was plentiful, hot and well prepared. We took our time and admired the views across the valley. Overall - good value for money. I would certainly go back.

Booked Sunday carvery 4 days in advance. Told it finished at 5pm so booked for 4pm. Arrived after a 30 minute drive, shown to our table, drinks order taken. Waitress said she would get our tickets. On return she said no more carvery it is finished. I stressed to her we had booked in advance and it didn't finish till 5pm and we were booked for 4pm which it was. No she said finished..I again complained asked for the manager and she shook her head finished! On return home I contacted them again, saying we booked days in advance, drove 30 minutes and a week later still no response and they have read the message..very bad customer service.

We had a dreadful experience at the restaurant. The service was chaotic, there were not enough staff, and the staff they had were all over the place. No system in place at all. The man at the carvery was constantly disappearing for more plates or more supplies, which made the service even worse. No system for top of veg etc. Would not recommend at all!!
