“Not child or adult friendly”
The best

This place is great if you’re not planning to sleep. I’m a deep sleeper but the walls here are paper thin, you can hear every conversation in the rooms next to you and any door and open or closes on your floor. I would also say this is a hotel for youth, there loud music until 2 or 3 am and people always talking and yelling in the hallway. The service is not very friendly but I still gave it 3 stars because of the night concierge that checked us in, he didn’t speak any English only Spanish but was very kind and tried to be very helpful, the daytime concierge are less so. You also have to pay a deposit to use an iron which the first time I’ve ever encountered that. Overall I give it 2 stars because if you are 18-22 I would say this is a great place to stay, close to bars and about a 10 minute taxi to Calella also the rooms are bare minimum but clean. However, terrible for adults looking to explore or families.

“Not nice”
The best

The room is lovely and clean and has good air conditioning. The live entertainment is nice aswell. You’re right next to lots of shops and restaurants so very convenient. But I do want to say the staff here are so rude not very welcoming at all. Me and my partner stayed here for 5 nights and the staff just stare at you with dirty looks. We was having dinner so I was walking up to this lady and she saw me coming and rolled her eyes at me so I asked if I can buy a drink she dismissed me and said one moment so I sat back down and 30 mins later still no offer for a drink while she walked around the dinner hall doing nothing, so we left. I wouldn’t have minded so much if the food was good but the food was so bad I needed that drink to wash it all down with. It’s so bland and very salty. Not a nice experience at all.

Very good local cuisine, lots of seafood. Clean rooms. A good base for trips to Barcelona by train. Jimmy is the boss here and knows how to get the evening party started.

“Never again.”

We enjoyed the location in the sense of there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Food at the hotel was pretty decent.

To be improved

Constant loud party every single day. An absolute nightmare if you are in family with a small child or you are a light sleeper. Some staff were really lovely, but some others basically couldn’t be bothered to help. Kids playing room was more for decoration than for use, as it was constantly locked and the schedule for opening seemed to be constantly changing depending on the staff of the day. Also, don’t be fooled by the pool picture. The pool is minuscule and 2 meters deep all around, so not very accessible for small children and older people. You can never just stand on the pool and chill. Same goes for the beach nearby, no very accessible it fully drops down as you go in. The hotel was completely full of very young party goers that sometimes would come back to the rooms at 3,4,5 am making loud noises which would wake all of us up. Overall, perhaps we made a mistake selecting this location, but we had a really bad stay. No rest and looking forward to leaving from day 1. Would not recommend unless you are child free and ready to party every night.
