“It was close to the train station and the room was clean and most of the linens were clean. · Cons: Prior to arrival, the hotel did not respond to 3 emails. When I went to lay down, the bed was wet. I lifted the sheet, and the mattress protector was wet and stained yellow. I'm not sure what the wet was, but I wasn't going to sleep in it. My husband went to tell the front desk. The lady at the front desk did not speak English and was dismissive and unapologetic when my husband tried to explain the situation. She came up to room and again did not apologize and looked upset with us. We did not understand her, but she was clearly annoyed for some reason. She ended up giving us another room, but did not apologize. The next morning, we tried to use Google Translate to ask her why she acted that way. She continued to be rude and never apologized. This woman should retire from the hospitality industry, her awful attitude doesn't belong in the business.”

“Comfortable and clean, with very nice hosts who checked me in at around 11 despite check-in being listed as closing at 10. You can get a credencial here, which is great if you want an early start as you don't need to wait for the tourist office to open. TVs are Netflix/YouTube capable. · Cons: Nothing unusual for a European hotel, but worth noting there is no AC so it may get a bit stuffy during summer.”
