“You are sleeping in a 16th century palace! Beautifully decorated and friendly staff. Our triple room was quite basic (no AC, it can get hot/humid during summer), but remember: you are staying in a 500-year old palace, it is worth it, and the value for money is good. Very friendly staff. Don't forget to pay for overnight parking (4.50 euros), or you are going to get a 100 euro ticket that is downgraded on the spot to 10 euros if you pay those 10 euros at the meter using a redemption code.”

“A comfortable stay in a small historic village.”
The best

This hotel is 17th century palace. Amazing place beautifully cared for. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and served either in breakfast room or outside patio area. There were several lounge areas with comfortable seating and games and books. There are plenty of good restaurants in the village. Best to book as evenings can be busy. The village is car free but there is a car park a short walk away.

To be improved

The village is of great historical interest and is very busy with day visitors. People also come into the village in the evening to eat in the many restaurants. Best to book restaurants. We stayed for 3 nights and went out during the day to the nearby coastal town of Comillas. Lovely beach here and also house by Gaudi which is really worth seeing. We explored the village either first thing or after crowds had gone.

Great historic hotel in the center of old town. Wonderful breakfast with many options. Even on a hot day we did not have trouble with temperature of the rooms. Good instructions about parking near the Tourist office.
