“Perfect overnight stay”

Excellent apartment for our one night stay on a road trip from Portugal to the east of Spain. The host Sandra provided timely information regarding access to the property and helped on our arrival when the garage would not open for us - it was sorted out within minutes! Location good for exploring Antequera although on a steep hill so maybe not suitable for people with mobility issues, but nice walk down into the town. Would definitely stay again as would like to explore this town and surrounding area further.

To be improved

Bathroom quite small with not a lot of space around the sink for your toiletries. Maybe a mirror in the lounge area would be helpful to put on make up or dry hair whilst your partner is in the bathroom! Also a kettle would be a nice addition.

“Great!”

The best

Comfortable, clean and well maintained. The roof terrace was great. Fantastic views over the city and up to the castle. Great sunsets!

To be improved

Not a complaint, more of an observation but the view comes with a price, it's a bit of a hike uphill from town. We are in our early sixties and not at the peak of fitness, but not exactly unhealthy. Ironically we were in a room fitted out for disabled guests, but anyone with a disability connected to mobility will really struggle. The listing shows tea and coffee facilities, but there was no kettle, just one of those coffee brewers you heat on the stove. A room safe isn't shown on the listing, I just expected one to be available but there wasn't one, own fault for not checking but worth noting. Overall, good value and would stay again and recommend.

“Clean and spacious with a VERY comfortable bed!”

This apartment is very close to the alcazaba and a short walk to town centre. There’s a great view from the top of the building. Most importantly, the air con was cold and the fridge even colder! Also, the parking (cost extra €) was spacious and clean, which is a relief after some of the tiny parking spaces we’ve had.

To be improved

We had some trouble operating the air conditioner (could turn it on but couldn’t turn it down) the remote control was either confusing or the batteries were going flat, I’m not sure which.

“Everything was great. If we were to be super critical, we missed not having an Iron and nowhere to put socks or underwear. But great location ,great terrace, very good all round .would definitely recommend to others. · Cons: Nothing to complain about .”
