“Lovely stay but need more staff.”

The best

Lovely grand old building. Great room albeit a bit old fashioned but very comfortable. Slept really well. Excellent breakfast and ample parking.

To be improved

Staff were great but very few of them. The same 2 or 3 ran the show and worked very hard but waiting became inevitable. The hotel needs to enjoy more staff especially as its a 4☆. Too far from town.

“Fabulous, comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price, great staff and dinner.”

This hotel is a gem! The staff are fabulous, the rooms are so comfortable, spacious and the hotel inside and out are beautifully cleaned and maintained. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on this but dinner was absolutely delicious. Beautifully cooked, seasoned and plated attractively. The night we stayed was very quiet, so the whole restaurant was ours! This was the first night of our motorbike tour of Spain and Portugal, we would definitely stay here again.

To be improved

It was a shame there were no other guests.

“Beautiful hotel. Room did not meet my expectations”

The hotel surroundings are beautiful, and the reception and restaurant are good.

To be improved

The room needed much maintenance. The head of the bed was detached from the bed structure, making much noise every time I moved. The curtains looked old and not clean. The lighting inside the room is not well designed. The room was not very clean. The bathtub had damages.
