Excellent hotel in a beautiful area. If you’ve not visited La Rioja and Haro before, you will love the scenery and vineyards of the wine you love! Receptionist deserves a special mention, for her fantastic hospitality and welcome. Modern and clean room, very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was super, with a large variety of food and drink to keep you going. Lovely proper coffee made in the bar and selection of drinks. Hotel restaurant looked sensational and locals were dressed up beautifully for a meal there. We will be back and stay again. The church is worth the walk and donation of €1. We adored the tapas and bars by the church soooo much! Los Berones was our favourite, very authentic. Chamomix was sensational for razor clams of dreams! Teeny odd thing was that the majority of the staff working there were very indifferent towards us. Blatantly ignoring our presence and no smiles. Just ignore than

The best

Ideally located in the town of Haro, the capital of the rioja wine region. A short walk to lots of vineyards and also the square, the centre of town. Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Spotlessly clean, a huge bed, great value food and drink. The hotel also has a lovely outdoor area where you can sample delicious food. I was very impressed. Don't be fooled by it only having 3 stars.
