“beautiful room and big bath. a little dark as old buildings are. nice and quite place if you like it remote. · Cons: wifi available but in our room no stable connection. we had to to switch to mobile wifi.”

Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Very nice terrasse and a large room. Excellent pickup service for the Camino Nice people

The breakfast was disappointing and 8 o'clock for breakfast is inconvenient for the Camino The room was beautiful and large but the bed too narrow

“Fantastic lux accommodation on the Camino route (they arrange transport to/from). Beautiful buildings and surrounds. Nice spa/sauna area that can be booked and lovely restaurant on site for dinner (and breakfast). Well worth the diversion.”

“Very peaceful and comfortable with helpful staff. Best shower on the Camino! · Cons: Although they have a wellness centre with hot tub and sauna, only one person can use it at a time. During my stay, a guest had reserved it for 4 hours, so I didn’t get to use it”

“Our favorite stay while walking the Camino—totally unique and luxurious”

The best

We stayed at Hotel As Torres da Hermida on our second night of walking the Camino from Sarria, and could not have picked a better place to rest up after our first two (long) days on the trail! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff were all incredibly welcoming. We especially appreciated that the hotel arranged a taxi to and from Ligonde for us. Dinner was delicious. Highly recommend breaking up the leg after Portomarin with a stopover in here, and taking advantage of the noon checkout with a shorter day ending in Palas de Rei.
