“Staff So Helpful”

The best

This pleasant suburban hotel on the riverside Camino path in Castañeres had a skeleton crew when I recently stayed overnight on a Sunday. Stelida and Aisha were the only staff I ever saw, yet they handled everything so graciously, even offering to personally make me dinner that evening despite the hotel restaurant being closed for Sunday dinners. I cannot praise both of them enough. In fact, the next morning, Stelida even came in early to make me breakfast, when I was the only guest there eating. It was very kind of her.

To be improved

It would be nice to have information available for the hotel's Sunday guests about where else in Casteñares to eat Sunday dinner.

The room, bathroom and bed were great. Very accomodating staff member.

To be improved

They need to sort out their key card entry dnd key power card. Ours needed to be changed about 5-6 times until one worked. However saying that, the staff member dealing with this issue deserved a gold medal!

Thé hôtel had a huge restaurant and breakfast bistro that never opened. No staff to be seen before we left so we had to wait for the luggage transfer company to arrive next day to hand over our backpack because reception was unattended and hotel completely locked. Bistro advertised breakfast from 6-9 am but not the case. Not open and no one to even provide a coffee. Town didn’t have any breakfast /coffee available until after 930am. Address on bookings not correct so I walked an extra hour to the wrong address. I tried to let the property know via WhatsApp but no response.

“Good restaurant, tricky room lighting”

For the area, this hotel was a good value and had convenient parking. Parking was the most important aspect of my choosing this hotel. Had a great lunch as well in the restaurant!

To be improved

The lights were extremely tricky to work. The room had the plastic key card to turn on the lights - but it would take quite a bit of manipulation for it to work. In fact, had to have a hotel employee come once to get them on after attempting on our own for a few minutes.

I liked that it has free parking. It has a nuce restaurant that was open at the time of ohr arrival.
