“Disappointed”

The best

The hotel is lovely but I didn’t get the room I wanted, not sure whose fault but was so disappointed as I’m travelling solo and the view is the most important part of my planning as I spend evenings on the balcony. When I realised I made several attempts to upgrade so far to no avail even though when checking on booking.com and loveholidays there has been availability. I am told when I go to reception to try at 10am in the morning for availability by which time the rooms are not available until the next day and so the saga goes on and on. Today I explained this to reception and was told I already had a good room. This might not seem a big issue to some but it has ruined my holiday and has left me in tears with frustration with the rudeness non understanding and lack of willingness to help. I am happy to pay the extra but the hotel just doesn’t seem to want to help or care. I am still here and have been to reception, sent emails and filled out a survey and they are just brushing me off. I see from some of their responses to negative reviews that if they were aware they could have done something but they are very aware of my issues and are choosing to do nothing. I haven’t eaten at hotel even though I actually thought my deal included breakfast so can’t comment on that. Housekeeping is great and the location is fantastic for the beach etc just feel so let down with customer service I will share my view

“Great experience!”

The best

A brilliant hotel, right on the beach front. The rooms are clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is really good, and plenty of variety. I will definitely be returning. A great price, for a great hotel in a great location.

“Could have been better”

The best

Pretty decent hotel I'll say. And the dinning staff are quite friendly. Arrived late (due to transport delay) with my family and a few other friends who also came with theirs (5 families). Although we contacted the hotel while awaiting our transport to inform them we would be arriving late, and pleading if they could set out a little snack for us as we were travelling with children and stores would be closed at our time of arrival, no such provision was made for us. It was disheartening especially considering that I was heavily pregnant and extremely thirsty on arrival, I wasn't even given a cup of water. The second con was that the out door pools were freezing cold and were not heated, they have no indoor pools. Thirdly : Breakfast lacked flavour and variety, felt like a bland repetition. Lastly: Although I applaud the entertainment team for their hard work, I believe they could benefit from employing and english translator as I noticed during my stay that a good amount of their guests were english speaking and they mostly (including children) felt left out during entertainment evenings. Pros 1. Food - specifically lunch and dinner especially the salads were spot on. Breakfast as mentioned before was a huge flop. 2. Dinning Staff: super friendly 3. The shower, no hot/cold water fluctuation. 4: DIY kit provided (needle and thread) was super useful. The rest I'd say were satisfactory, such as hotel location, cleanliness and distance to town.

“A good stay”

The best

My family stayed in one of the apartments. We really liked the size of the balcony and that it had a table with four chairs rather than only 2 and a drying rack. Our view was on the side of the parking area which meant there was less to view but it seemed to be quieter which made it feel like we had more privacy. A tile was slightly loose of the balcony, the toilet seat was on the looser side, and there was some damage to the trimming in the bedroom area, but it was cleaned well everyday. Our daughter thought the couch bed was very comfortable. Our daughter also really liked the lifeguard and we both thought she did her job very well. Our daughter also thought she was very friendly. I loved the fact that the beach was so close and we all enjoyed the decorations for Halloween in the lobby. It's a big hotel so there are many other tourists around sharing space. We were disappointed that the wifi didn't work in the apartments and we thought a few other tourists were ride, but we still enjoyed our stay.

“Pool and beach view room is recommended.”

Writing thos while staying at hotel, Room is OK tho little small sharing with my 2 elder children, beds are not as comfy as other hotels I have stayed but still good enough also clean and maids cleaned it daily.View from balcony was amazing.... Food could have been better, maybe some scrambled egg at breakfast and some more vegetarian options, still always had something so didn't starve. also found the restaurant is not big enough for number of guests at hotel so had to que. Pool is amazing tho life guard is very strict with no jumping diving water guns or balls allowed. (Only doing her job but still) Plenty of sunloungers so no need to rush in the morning... Entertainment was so loud felt it didn't have to be that loud. Beach on your doorstep absolutely beautiful with best sunrise and sunsets. All in all a good holiday with amazing weather.
