Nice decoration, clean room, good water pressure, comfortable size.

To be improved

A kettle in the room would make it more comfortable, toilet brush, because the room was very clean but the toilet wasnt. Soap is very thiny, lack of soap holder in shower.

Very well located. Beautiful newly renovated room. Excellent breakfast. Staff were friendly and efficient.

To be improved

The hotel is pet friendly and there were a lot of dogs around at some points, which could put some people off. A fridge would have been appreciated. The parking garage was hard to access due to roadworks.

The best

Location was good but a lot of men roaming around of various nationalities. One young man tried to talk to me calling me 'old man'. I think it's an area you should be careful in. Or maybe I am not used to big cities anymore. The breakfast was poor. Nothing hot. There was nice looking bread already sliced but it was stale. The dining room was clean and nicely set out with space between tables and you could sit on the terrace. It's a pity the breakfast didn't match the setting. There was no bar. There was no fridge in the room but there was a supermarket next door where you could buy cold drinks and ice, which we did. It was a few minutes to the basilica.

To be improved

We knew parking would be difficult. First of all the sat nav took us close to the hotel but we didn't spot it. There was a single traffic light on red and tram lines in front of us. The red light stayed on a long time. When it flashed orange you could cross the tram lines turning left and the hotel is right there on your right. But you are on a bit of road that doubles as a pavement. You could go onto that road keeping left and if there is space you can park just outside the hotel. The associated car park is across the road but you are not allowed to cross the tram lines at that point. You need to drive all the way to the bottom of the road effectively doing a u turn at the bottom. On the back up I was close to the hotel and dived into a Indigo car park. But it was the wrong one. So I had to ask for a refund on the parking.
