“Accommodation after finishing Camino”
The best

We finished our camino trek today. After lunch and camino certification we started looking for accommodation. Unfortunately it was quite late and we needed to stay near train station - so every possible albergue was full. This hotel was our last (probably 5th) option and we stayed here. + Really kind receptionist + Cheaper than most hotels + Comfortable bed + Near to the station - Paper walls -> you hear everything. Like. Really. EVERYTHING.

“Small,clean hotel with friendly staff”
The best

Situated on a very busy street, about 15min walk from the old town. The rooms are small, but freshly decorated. Cleaning is carried out every day, with fresh towels supplied. Beds and pillows comfortable. We were situated on the 'street' side of the hotel, which was fine provided the French windows were kept closed. On opening the windows, the noise and smell of the outside traffic was horrendous. We had a little balcony, but were really unable to use it because of the traffic. The room had a television, but unfortunately there were no 'English' channels available. The bathroom was fine, with a good shower over a small bath. The ventilation in the bathroom was inadequate however, and caused the room to feel rather damp. Our main gripe was the fact that we were unable to switch on the heater in our room. We returned to the hotel one evening soaking wet and asked if we could have the heater switched on. We were told that this could not be done because it would mean switching all of the heaters on!

“Nice stay in Santiago”
The best

We arrived in Santiago after the Camino by bicycle. We stayed two nights and it was perfect. The owner is very sweet and helpful, she let us keep our bicycles inside. The room was nicely decorated with a correct size, very clean and we slept comfortably. Only the bathroom was a bit small. Returning in Santiago in the future, will be back there!

“Value for money”
The best

This family run hotel offers exeptional service and clean, spacious rooms. All for a really good price. The staff is very friendly and helpful making it the ideal place to stay after having done the camino. The woman at the front desk was very sweet and told us loads about the city of Santiago De Compostella, its history and worthwhile places to visit. We would definately recommend this hotel to everyone visiting SDC.

“Highest cost-benefit ratio”
The best

I had a room in the 1st floor, front side, next the neon lights, but I was so tired that even with opened window I had an excellent sleep. The room was perfectly clean, simple, though had a chic arrangement. The old town is about 10 mins walk away. There is no possibility to eat at the hotel, but if you are extremely hungry, try the “Istambul Döner Kebab”, ca. 300 meters away from the hotel, on the right side, direction city center, here you can get a huge and tasty portion for a good price. Norma, the owner of the hotel is very friendly, straight and enthusiastic about Galicia and she helped me with a lot of information and even planed my route around the region, so I got to Ezaro Falls (a must see!), Fisterra, Muxia and a lot of other wonderful places, although I had an extremely foggy and rainy weather, it was an unforgettable experience. Thanks for your hospitality again! : )

“Absolutely excellent”
The best

A thoroughly enjoyable stay at Hotel B-Nor in Santiago. The hotel is very reasonably priced and exceeded all our expectations. We had a large room on the second floor at the back which was completely silent at night. Comfortable beds and beautifully clean rooms. The hotel is located a short (5-10 minute) walk from the centre of the city, but it was great to dip in and out when we wanted to get away from the crowds and noise. Fifteen minutes from the railway station but easily walkable. The lady on reception (the owner?) couldn't have been friendlier as we asked her about the city and the region. I will definitely stay here again and I can thoroughly recommend it!
