“A pleasant stay”

The best

We stayed here one night as we were travelling to Portugal. It was located close to the bus station. We dined here also and the menu and drink selection was very nice. The room we had was fine, it was clean and spacious. It was quiet, there was only one issue, the previous person who used it, left the safe locked. We brought this to management's attention, luckily we didn't need to use it. There are stores and supermarkets close. The hotel was reasonably priced.

“Adequate for a short stay but the Airconditioning is a downer”

To be improved

The airconditioner didnt work very well, and we had problems with the door lock on the room that didn't allow us to enter without issue and no matter how many cards we had it still didnt work. Pool is underground.

“A nice hotel centrally located with good facilities.”

The best

Centrally located with all facilities for a stopover. Swimming pool a great addition. Great bar/ restaurant with great staff offering a wide variety of food and drinks.

To be improved

We didn’t like that the reception staff didn’t seem the happiest or helpful, the breakfast is served later on a weekend as we had to depart and forfeit breakfast. It was very noisy in the morning with residents returning at 5am from a night out. Was a bit pricey we thought compared to other places we have stayed.

“Nice pit stop on one's way to Lisbon.”

The best

The facilities were clean and the staff was both helpful and courteous. There is a spacious on-site underground garage. There is a small outdoor swimming pool. The restaurant is not large, but nice and the food selection was good.

To be improved

The hotel is on the outskirts of town, but no complaints.

“The location, the room is clean, and all the amenities have been thoughtfully catered for. The staff in all areas very polite and respectful. · Cons: The food needs improvement. My club sandwich was not made properly, not cut, not toasted well, so the bread was limp, big piece of chicken on one part of the sandwich. No sauces were provided by the side. The chicken soup was a chicken broth, watery and not much of chicken flavour. They charge you a good amount for it.”
