Hotel Bahia Sur

Definitely not a 4* hotel .

Air con was not working which made the room very stuffy overnight and opening the balcony door invited mozzies in! However, that said, it was a very enjoyable stay!

In a shopping mall and lots of noise at night with deliveries. Out of season. Restauraunt closed bar closed. No phone in the room

First room offered was smelly. Second room was above kitchen area that was noisy until 12pm, very frustrating!

Aircon in rooms didnt work well and it was very very hot inside the building all the time

Not worth 4 star value and paying 126.90 euro for one twin room and only one nights stay. Felt to me like 2 star accommodation. Rooms need a massive upgrade. Bed mattresses are very used. There is no room service, telephone, complimentary water on arrival in the room and the wifi has a poor connection to disappearing for most of the time. Bit disappointed that the place did not look like the pics or like any other 4, 3 or even 2 star establishment I've been to. I'm sure at some point the standards were pretty high to have that rating. Personally, if the price was between 50 and 60 euro, then it's okay. But does not deserve to be more than double. The small bar fridge has rustef handles inside, looks horrible and needs replacing. I was really excited for my stay and honestly thought it would look like a resort with leisure areas to relax and enjoy a drink as in the pics but unfortunately not at this time of the year. There is a notice on the booking to say the pools are closed, I'm not referring to that. But there should be alternative relaxation areas considering how long pools are closed for in Spain and if you're a 4 star establishment. Very difficult to compare this with any other hotel with that rating.
