“Great thermal cave. Some of front desk staff was quite rude and the air-con didn't work. Overpriced.”

We loved the environment and the cleaningness. Some of the staff were helpful and we felt welcomed initially to the hotel. We really liked the place where it is. Sufficiently far away from the road and quiet and nice. We could hear the Deva river all the time, which was nice. We also were able to walk to La Hermida village through a trail away from the road, which made it very enjoyable.

To be improved

Three main things really bothered us. One was the air-con in the room. We stayed on a couple of warm and muggy nights and we couldn't open the window because bugs will get in the room (no window net to stop this) so we started the air-con. This made noise all night but no cold air came out of it. I complained to the reception desk who first said I was lying or wrong because they already checked it. They were rude in the management of the situation(second issue we had) and there was no apology for this rudeness. After pushing again, they offered us another room in the same floor but when we visited it, it had the same problem. The air-con was working in other parts of the building -like the coffee shop- but not in the room. We ended up staying in the original room and sweated our night away. The third and final issue was that there is no discount to use the thermal cave and outside swimming pool. We did have access to the spa which as ok but we really wanted to try the caves which was 60 euros on top of the quite expensive stay. I think there should be a discount to the hotel guests.

“Very very disappointed.”

Well it was a celebration of our Anniversary as we were coming back from the picos de Europa I was exiting to try this iconic SPA. Thinking ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel should be good enough.. but I’m afraid realistically speaking travelling around the world this place doesn’t meet the speciation of a four star hotel. I understand is a country stay but the SPA,trying others is nothing to get excited about.Very basic,my husband paid the circuit included £4 for a polisher hat. My dressing gown presented in a closed plastic bag was full of hols on one of the arms!! I was Shock!! I got an apology when I ask them about the standards of the hotel. The room full of stains on the wall (I don’t understand why they can’t have some basic standards.
