Hotel Barcelona Center

We loved our stay at Hotel Barcelona Center. The location is simply perfect, just a few blocks from Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, and very close to Passeig de Gràcia, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, shops, and a lovely promenade for walking and enjoying the atmosphere of the city. It’s also very close to a metro station (Passeig de Gracia), which makes everything incredibly convenient. You can get directly from the airport by metro and walk just a few blocks to the hotel. The area is very safe and truly beautiful, perfect for exploring at any time of day. The service was excellent. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with the shower, and they resolved it quickly. They even lent us plug converters, which was a very thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. The room was a bit dark, but very comfortable, making our stay very pleasant overall. The only issues we had was with the door keys as they needed to be constantly reactivated. I definitely recommend it 100%.

The rooms are clean, well-designed, and built around a warm, classic concept that carries throughout the hotel. Everything feels thoughtfully maintained and comfortable, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Despite being located at a busy intersection, the rooms are very well insulated and remain quiet, ensuring a restful stay. Service is a clear strength. The staff is attentive, polite, and genuinely helpful, adding to the overall ease and enjoyment of the stay. Location is another major advantage. The hotel is just steps away from a metro station, making it extremely convenient for getting around the city. Many of Barcelona’s top attractions are also within walking distance, including Passeig de Gràcia, La Rambla, El Born, Gothic Quarter, and even the marina area. Architectural highlights such as Casa Milà and Casa Batlló are just a short walk away. The surrounding area is lively and well-served, with plenty of good restaurants and cafés, allowing you to stay in the heart of the city while still enjoying a bit of distance from the most crowded zones. The hotel also features a pleasant rooftop area, ideal for relaxing with a drink while enjoying city views. We found Hotel Barcelona Center as a dependable and high-quality choice in Barcelona.

I 100% recommend this hotel. I've been coming here once a month for work for a long time, and I especially want to commend Vanessa, the Manager, and Mohamed, who handles our check-in. and welcoming! They are extremely professional, helpful, and attentive, always finding solutions for both loyal and new guests. Mohamed will make your stay unforgettable with his attentiveness and helpful recommendations. Vanessa will always strive to ensure your satisfaction and make your stay truly memorable! The rooms are comfortable, and the linens are lovely. All the hotel staff are always very friendly and available, regardless of the season or workload. The hotel's central location makes getting around very easy. I highly recommend it!

This hotel has the most perfect location with all amenities close by. The metro stations are no more than 10 min walk away along with bus stops too. The rood top jacuzzi's are a bonus too. We spent an hour in this every evening to wind down and ease our achy legs from the 25,000+ steps were did every day. All staff were very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much to ask even when we asked for more bath robes and slippers as they only provided 2 when there was 3 adults in our party. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definately return. We also had the biggest surprise when were were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival in a bucket of ice! Perfect break for my son's 21st. Thank you so much for making this perfect!!

The staff is very attentive and the room is comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and the location is unbeatable. The only issue is that the internet never worked. The front desk person told me that, unfortunately, the WiFi isn't very effective since many guests are using it at the same time. This is sadly, not accurate. I was jetlagged and tried using the internet at 3pm, 7pm, midnight and 3am and it never worked. Unacceptable.

This hotel has the most perfect location. We did most of our sightseeing by walking as my daughter is not a fan of the underground but it was easy. Our room that we had booked was not ready on arrival as it was 10 am but we were offered a different room that we could use immediately which we were so grateful of so we could unpack and get into the city. We were taken up to view the room to see what we thought. The room was spacious with two lovely twin beds and gorgeous bed linen. Bathroom was very good too with toiletries there to use. Lighting could have been a bit brighter but I’ve found this in other European hotels. Temperature could be managed easily with the thermostat. The room on the second floor was at the back of the hotel with no view really but this did not bother us at all as the room was available and perfect. The hotel has a roof top area with 2 Jacuzzis and a gym that looked good. This would be amazing in summer months to sit up there with a drink. There are 2 lounges by reception that are lovely also one with TV and bar. All the reception staff that we met were all very very good , friendly , helpful, professional. They could not have been any better. Mohammed the one concierge went out of his way to answer all our questions gave us directions to many places and gave us umbrellas on the one rainy day 🙏 He is a credit to the hotel !! There are some very good restaurants and cafe bars all around the hotel. When I go back I will stay at this hotel for sure !! Thank you
