Hotel Bella Mar

Nice breakfast, really helpful & friendly staff. Bianca let us come back to the hotel and have a shower and freshen up as we had an evening flight.

AVOID at all costs. This is no 3 star hotel, it’s more like a 1 star hostel. Thoroughly disappointed. Swimming with cigarette ends and dead flies, room poor. Booked through Love holidays and the pictures on their site do not reflect the rooms you stay in if you have to stay in the building over the road from the hotel you think you’ve booked. Stay away is my advice

This was the most reasonably priced hotel with breakfast included in the package love holidays were offering. I booked about a month before and checked in at the end of July I stayed until 2nd August 2024. I was worried when I looked at photos and heard reviews. But it turned out fine. I checked in at 1am and there was someone on reception. He put us in the connecting building (not the main building that has 6 floors). The connecting building has 3 floors. I stayed in room 208. It overlooks the square. There is a club Chucca that plays music on the square in the evenings and closes at midnight. The noise didn't bother us. The room had 3 single beds. The bathroom looks exactly as the photos it needs a little modification but it was okay for the price. The air conditioning in the room was very good.The room and bathroom were very clean even the balcony furniture was clean. They change towels everyday except Thursday. All the staff are very nice. Lots of families with kids stay here, which was great as my daughter had people to play with. The breakfast buffet was okay they had bacon, sausages, eggs, fruits, breads, cereals. They don't check your room number at the door so anyone can walk in. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. A kids playground and a rocky beach (no sand) 7 min walk from the hotel. We went horse riding at Rancho Bonanza which is €35 each person. It's walking distance from the hotel but it was too hot, so we took a taxi which cost €6 one way. We also went to the beautiful sandy Cala Agulla beach €7 taxi. You can buy parasols for €14 at the shops behind the hotel. We also went to Splash world water park inside of Globales Bourganvilla resort in Sa Coma. We took the 424 bus from behind the hotel (€6 one way) and then from 'Savenes 1' bus stop, we took a taxi (€5.50) to Boganvilla. Use Taxi Rapid +34971562556. Splash World was great you get a day pass which entitles you to unlimited free drinks and food (burger, chips, fish fingers, nuggets, hot dogs, slushies). It cost £105 for me and my daughter but it was worth it. Mallorca Safari Zoo is accross the road from the back of Bourganvilla.
