Hotel Best Jacaranda

Just back from a week here, as a family of 4. Wasn't sure what to expect before coming due to the mixed reviews, but was hopeful we made the right choice. We arrived at 9pm and checked in quickly and managed to grab a quick evening dinner. First impressions of the room and food were underwhelming. Thankfully the rest of our trip was exceptionally good. We loved the pool area, my 8yo girl made lots of friends and met up in the evenings at the mini disco - the area this is held in could do with a makeover, as we felt it was dark and dingy - the entertainment team here and by the pool are very good. We managed to eat well at most meals, especially enjoying the breakfasts, and a couple fo the themed dinner nights. The room we had was most certainly ok, and suited our needs. We would definitely stay here again. We were in block F on the 6th floor.

Be careful leaving any valuables or money around as there’s defiantly a slimey cleaner who will take it and route through your things. Had nearly 500 euros stolen from inside one of my bags in the zip compartment under neath all the clothes hidden at the back of the wardrobe. Wouldn’t mind but she didn’t even bother to clean the glass on the front of the wardrobe. Just snooping around for cash. Hotel said file a police report, that’s about it. Probably had the same cleaner in there the next day as highly doubt the hotel did anything about it. Hotel questioned us on could it be anyone else when we left the door locked at all times when leaving, including the balcony door. Baring in mind we was on the 7th floor, no one was climbing into our room. Ruined the full holiday. She also came in the day before without knocking while we was both getting dresssed. Be aware.

This is our second trip within 18 months to this hotel but our first review. Strongly believe if you can get the price right vs other hotels in the area, it’s on point for lovation, hotel grounds, food and facilities.

We booked this hotel as Jet2 had the offer of Siam park tickets so this made our mind up. I had read some not good reviews, and I was really hesitant about the holiday. As it was a very special gift for my daughter and granddaughter. My hesitation soon disappeared as we found the hotel to be great. We had a family room in E block we were on the ground which was fine. But we could hear other people coming back to their rooms after 11.00 at night, and they were noisy. Especially letting the heavy doors slam. We could also hear the people either side of us on their balconies late at night. That being aside, the room was clean and tidy. Could have done with a bit more storage . We asked for blankets for the beds as we were cold and this was sorted straight away. The lock on the patio door would only lock when it wanted to. Again we did report it. Maintenance apparently had been to fixed it only for the next day for it not to work again. We just made sure all our valuables were in the safe. The buffet was plentiful, themed evenings every night. Some food could have been hotter. But that was our preference. Snack bar was great for during the day. My granddaughter loved going to help herself . Yes it's open aired so of course you will get birds flying in. But we never saw any near the food. Alcohol was ok. Cocktails in the all inclusive were out of a machine. We drank beer or cava both nice. Ideally located shops across the road including a small supermarket. Beach about ten minutes walk. The reception ordered us taxis whenever we needed one. Entertainment is very good. Things on during the day. Mini disco for the children,then adult entertainment in the evening. Overall an ideal hotel for families. Would I return yes I would. Don't always believe everything you read. We loved our time at the best jacaranda .

Highly recommend for family’s. Entertainment and food was superb and everywhere really clean.
