Hotel Best Maritim

Location is great, lovely walks to Salou and Cambrills. Bus stop right outside the door. Brilliant to be on the beach and loads of loungers at the pool and at a quieter area away from the pool. I stayed last year also. Will be back very soon.

We were eight of us there for a pétanque competition and were picked up by coach every day but anyway what a great location for the beach and short public bus to town and markets. At the far end of the “strip” which suited us as quieter with no late music around. Although there was evening entertainment in hotel this finished at a reasonable hour so no loud noise levels. The very vast majority of the staff from reception to cleaners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The buffet food at all meals was plentiful and had loads of choice - something for everyone from vegans to carnivores. Overall a modern, well positioned, good value hotel. No complaints at all😃 Also buses right outside hotel for Tarragona, Reus and Barcelona day trips 💃

We were there for a week at the end of April 2025. We enjoyed our stay. The Maritime is a nice family hotel. The room was a little tight on space for two adults and a 12 yo. The food was good though perhaps a little repetitive - a bit too predictable. The hotel is located virtually on the beach. The pool area etc is good. And sited equidistant between Cambrils and Salou it is nicely placed. The bus stop is handily placed outside. The evening entertainment was okay and the bar service good. I fell ill towards the end of our stay and the hotel staff were very helpful when it came to extending our stay (travel insurance paid for it). We have since been on holiday twice since then to give us a break from Best Hotels in Spain but we have come to the conclusion that Best run a nice chain of 4* hotels. So no doubt we will be back to one or other in the chain.

Arrived here after a 20 min transfer from Reus airport. Checked in quickly, unpacked and down for lunch. First impression of hotel was very positive and it only got even better. Location fabulous, right on the beach which goes for several miles in both directions. Lovely big pool with loads of sunbeds and parasols available. The pool wasn't too cold either for Oct , lovely once you get in. Rooftop area was great too, with Bali beds and whirlpools, great for chilling. The hotel itself is huge, but there is so much space in public areas you will never feel crowded. The restaurant is huge but you will always find a table quickly, great variety of food, honestly there is so much choice, we were half board and enjoyed every meal. A big thank you to all the amazing, very hard working staff throughout the Maritim, these guys work tirelessly to ensure you all have a good holiday. Please appreciate them, and don't be shy about leaving some tips. Hope to be back here next year.

Great location right on the beach front, rooms were a good size with balcony. Can't fault it for what we paid, the food is varied at night and I am a fussy eater but always had 3-4 choices every night. Not much going on in the way of entertainment but the hotel was closing the day after we left. Thought all the staff were fantastic especially in the restaurant I would definitely go back. There are 2 supermarkets 50 yards away and a bike hire shop which is 10 euro for a full day It is about a 15 min walk to Salou down the promenade. I would imagine it is totally different in peak summer regarding sunbeds/noise etc but for a late getaway in September/October it was perfect.

Stayed here for 5 days with our 7month old daughter. The hotel is ideally situated just 20mins from the airport and directly on the beach, it’s clean and welcoming and extremely well equipped. The food is yummy, with loads of different options and it’s different everyday. The pool was freezing, however good in size and clean. There are plenty of sun loungers and a maintained pool bar. Entertainment is the evening is really good, I love the kids disco. All staff were really helpful and accommodating and even helped us with our daughter when she was getting upset whilst we were having our dinner. The rooms are clean and spacious, the cleaners do a great job of keeping the rooms well equipped and clean. The hotel supplied us with a lovely clean travel cot which my daughter slept lovely in. All in all a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to everyone. Thank you.
