“Cons: False advertisement - website mentions in multiple places they have a/c. Hotel does not have working a/c's. 3 rooms I checked had no working a/c's. Lobby smells bad. Property manager ignored and continues to ignore my messages. I expected Booking to help. Manager told Booking he would take care of the issue by providing a different room and giving me compensation. He never responded that night and gave me the option of another room. Now he is ignoring my messages and has not provided any kind of compensation. Booking then gets out of the picture and expects the manager to meet his promises while nothing has happened. In addition, in my brother's room his bathroom sink was backing up indicating it was clugged.”

What a gem! Santillana absolutely stole my heart. From the picture-perfect cobblestone streets to the peaceful charm of the village, everything was magic. The accommodation was spotless, welcoming, and had everything I needed to rest and recharge during my Camino. Hosts were lovely, the vibe was relaxed, and the town itself felt like stepping into a storybook. Would come back in a heartbeat — one of my favorite stops on the journey!

Air conditioning is the first thing promised in the description. We tested three rooms in which the AC did not work. The administrator ignored our requests for help. Booking called him and he requested an hour. Nothing was done, never worked. In addition the lavatory did not drain properly. No one was at the hotel. Finally the administrator wrote they would fix it next week. Noise from people, cats and other animals, and heat made it impossible to sleep when opening the window. After 2am the room cooled enough from opening the window. I am technically capable and I understand they purposely set the AC split units compressors not to cool. Then ignore claims when you arrive and is too late to leave. Get another hotel with a better condition and some service for a similar price.

“I couldn't give a review on the staff - because there weren't any, the hotel was automated, staff were there but we didn't see them. · Cons: Being automated is not ideal but it worked, the bathroom was very small, and would not have been suitable for a larger person.”
