“A lovely rural retreat”

Set on a hillside amongst the vineyards, this is a great spot for a stay in the countryside about an hour’s drive from Valencia. Staff were very helpful. If you want a wine tour, there is currently only one a day at 12noon. You can have dinner at the property provided you let them know in advance (choice of three menus available). Breakfast was excellent too.

“EXCELLENT”

The best

The relaxed atmosphere at the hotel. As a solo traveller, I felt comfortable. The evening meal is very good, and great value for money. My room was upgraded to a larger room which was great. It's an older building, very quaint and original, I enjoyed it very much. The staff were great and worked very hard.

To be improved

Unfortunately, wasps were getting into the room. The area is probably prone to insects etc,, and with the building being original and older, I appreciate there are gaps where insects can enter. The reception staff attended to the matter, but it didn't seem to solve it. However, this would not stop me staying at the hotel in the future.

“Great views and a special place to stay”

The best

The hotel is a beautiful old Spanish building with amazing views of the surrounding vineyards. It's super peaceful and a great place to spend a night or two to relax. They offer tours and dinners at the hotel, but I'd recommend heading to a few vineyards in the region or Requena old town for some bodegas as well.

To be improved

The dinner was good and reasonably priced, but it wasn't an option to have it outside and enjoy the lovely views. The pool was also drained at the time we were there
