One night stay in this lovely small hotel. Great refurbished room and really friendly staff. For a small hotel very extensive breakfast with eggs cooked to order.

“Family owned boutique hotel, great location”

The best

Just in front of the ocean, a short walk from the center of Peniscola, great stay, clean and comfortable room, great service. Going from Barcelona to Valencia we decided to break up the drive and stop in Peniscola, Beautiful long beach, 20 minutes walk to the castle of Peniscola, tons of restaurants and great service.

“Nice family run hotel”

The best

This hotel was better than expected. We had a room with seaview balcony on the front. Very nice sitting there in the evening watching the sea and all the people on the car free boulevard. The Double bed was a bit narrow, but it had a very good mattress. There was an inroom safe. The bathroom had a bath, no separate shower, but there was a bidet. Parking is safe in a closed parking area for 7 euro's a night. The restaurant was already closed for the season, but they did have a breakfast buffet, which you could eat inside or out on the terras The first morning we came down around 9.00 at the same time as many other guests. That was a bit of a Covid nightmare with people not keeping distance at all, absolutely not Covid proof, so we made sure to get up early the other mornings and have our breakfast at 8.00 before the other guests, which felt a lot better.The family and staff are very friendly and helpful. Recommended.

“An oasis of calm”

Travelling in these uncertain times can be a worry . We had to make a necessary trip and broke the journey in Peniscola. From the moment we arrived at Hotel Bodegon our worries melted away. The family run hotel is typically Spanish and the family are most welcoming . They speak perfect English and nothing was too much trouble . All Covid protocols are adhered to . The hotel is situated right on the promenade which is pedestrianised . Access is from the back road. It is Quiet and calm . And I cannot recommend the hotel and family high enough .

“A perfect place to stay”

The best

We received a wonderful welcome from a member of the family, who spoke perfect English. The hotel is in a beautiful location, by the sandy beach, about 30 minutes stroll from the busy part of town. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, serving a wide variety of delicious food. All the members of staff are efficient and friendly. There is plenty of private parking. There are other bars and restaurants nearby. It was a pleasure to stay at such a well-run, traditional Spanish hotel, full of character. We would love to stay there again.

“Great Location”

The best

Having not visited for two years, I'm happy to say that the place is as good as ever. Just spent a wonderful 10 days relaxing at the Hotel and it really is a fabulous spot. The location of the Hotel couldn't be better, being right on the beachfront. Cristian and his staff really do go the extra mile to accommodate their guests. The bar and restaurant are excellent and the place is super clean. Definitely the best place in town and i look forward to visiting again in the near future!!!
