“The room and the bathroom was very clean. The hotel is in the very centre of Gernika, though the whole town is small, so everything was really 1 minute from the hotel. There is a nice bar/cafe there, where you can breakfast and drink a coffe/tea/whatever you want. And the food is also very delicious.”

Nice staff in the bar and reception. Nice quiet hotel.

It's an old style hotel but is still worth a visit if staying in Guernica.

Clean and tidy room, exactly as we expected - fairly minimalist and basic in the good sense of the word, it's all you want really for a place to stay for a night. Staff were very nice, it was super central and the room was pleasant.

To be improved

A little bit noisy in the stairwell in the day/evening, but we slept well and were not disturbed in the night.

There was mold around the windows. We didn’t feel safe for our health with the black mold so we paid for another hotel room. It was dirty and I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I will be contacting Booking about a refund
