Hotel Botanico y Oriental Spa Garden

Memorable stay at this amazing beautiful hotel. This is our 5th stay at this fantastic hotel. We came for my wife’s 60th birthday. The quality of service, the standard of our room was its usual impeccable standard. We stayed in a superior Ambassador suite, which had a beautiful sea view. We stayed for a week, the standard of service and the professionalism of the staff is off the scale. This hotel is the best in Puerto del la Cruz. A special thank-you to all the bar hall staff Victor and Phil, who looked after us. Our break coincided with the Easter school holidays. Although the weather was a little unsettled, on the one day we managed to get to the pool it was a little noisy with lots of young children shouting, and running around the pool area which was slightly unsettling we hadn’t experienced that before, as when we normally come it’s very quiet. We absolutely love this hotel. It’s like a home coming every time we come back. So much so we have rebooked for late September. We can’t wait to come back.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this Hotel, this was our 5th visit, but we never get tired of it.. I was celebrating my 60th Birthday while in Tenerife.. The hotel staff made my Birthday very special indeed.. they decorated our room and we had a wonderful meal in one of there restaurants which was excellent.. Staff can not do enough for you.. can’t wait to visit again in September

Very good hotel with excellent service. The reception service was quick and easy. The suite was clean. The hotel has a Thai feel and there is an excellent Thai restaurant.l

This was an amazing hotel!!! Me and my mum stayed for a week and we had the most relaxing and peaceful stay! We arrived and Adama, one of the doorman, showed us to our room, he was so friendly and helpful and was always extremely friendly whenever we saw him. The room was amazing, it had a lovely balcony and was so clean, the cleaning staff were so efficient and it was such a nice touch when they left a chocolate at turndown service. The staff were so friendly and so helpful, the waiting staff at the oriental restaurant and the Mediterranean were so lovely and attentive. The food was unbelievable, our favourite items were the tiramisu from the Mediterranean restaurant and also the pad Thai and spring rolls from the oriental, they were absolutely delicious, you have to try them! The breakfast also was amazing it had everything you could think of, it had everything from fruit, freshly made crepes, omelettes, eggs, pastries, crème caramels and the most delicious cakes. The fresh coffee was also lovely. Me and my mum went to the spa most days and it was so peaceful and relaxing. The loungers were so comfy and it felt like you were lying on a cloud! The pool was so nice and the perfect temperature. Also the oriental gardens were so beautiful, they were so exotic and I loved all the little animals like the little turtles and the black swans and the koi fish, the gardens were perfect for a little walk around. The staff at the hotel really made it the experience it was, they were all so lovely and they made you feel so welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble! Thank you so much! We will definitely be staying here again if we are in Tenerife and we will recommend this hotel.

excellent facilities and polite well trained staff

We have just returned from another amazing stay at this lovely hotel. The holiday starts as you enter the hotel and are warmly greeted & welcomed by all. It’s difficult to know where to start, from the excellent breakfasts & Mario at the Egg Station to the wonderful food from their varied restaurants, Spanish, Thai & Italian, what a choice! The service & helpfulness from staff at reception, the concierge, waiting & bar staff, cleaners & at the pool all exceptional. The swimming pools are both excellent & the Spa facilities are a perfect place to relax with a good selection of spa amenities and bookable treatments. Our room was very comfortable & kept spotless with a turndown every night & always a chocolate treat. The grounds are a joy to walk around, especially after a leisurely breakfast sat outside with our Mimosas. We always try to make the 6.00pm drinks presentation in the bar which is different every evening & the staff presenting it so informative & interesting on how the different drinks should be made. In the past we said we wouldn’t return to the same hotel twice but ofter experiencing the Botanico this is not now the case & have been back 7 times & already looking at a return date.
