“The best!!”

The best

Can’t say enough great things about this hotel. Everything was top notch! Rooms were great, restaurant was super and the staff was excellent! Reasonable prices and we will always stay here when we visit Plentzia!

“Great little hotel with a couple of caveats”

The best

Great location, air conditioning (quite rare in northern Spain), great restaurant, nice rooms, very clean, decent windows (sound and heat insulation).

To be improved

Other rooms were noisy (internal sound insulation not good). Wifi was weak and spotty (didn't work for half a day). Hotel not staffed after 23:00.

“A good stay in a lovely place.”

The best

The location of the hotel was good with nice views over the estuary. The apartment was basic but comfortable and well equipped in the kitchen. The best thing was the free parking a 5 min walk away next to the metro with good service into Bilbao for 2 euros. Plenty of cafes and bars around but you need to book tables for dinner when it’s busy. The best restaurant was Las Palmeras Jatetxea, a 4 min drive away, great food, lovely place.

To be improved

You can hear noise from other rooms but during the night it was very quiet. We ate at the hotel once but we had better meals elsewhere and more reasonably priced. We would have liked a toaster in the apartment.

“Very central, just over one of the mainstream restaurants that serve food all the time. Huge Tv screen · Cons: The stars were blocked/ locked, thats emergency exit and also the only way to move for people with claustrofobia, it smelled grilled meat from the ventilation. The doors are extremely noisy because of the automatic shutting, no good sleep at all.”
