“Good location”
Lovely old courtyard hotel with interesting rooms and a roof terrace. Helpful staff. Good location near cathedral. Good breakfast (Spanish style) tho in March it wasn’t warm enough to eat on the terrace so we had a table in the lobby area which was a bit cramped.
“Underwhelming”
While the location and staff were excellent. The room was a little underwhelming. We had no window to the outside so it got very stuffy in the room at night. The AC and fan were broken in the room. The WiFi stopped working the second day and was really bad in the room. I was relying on the WiFi to book other hotels for our trip so it was a bummer that it stopped working altogether.
“Wonderful overall”
Perfect location, interesting boutique ambiance, lovely staff.
No menu for breakfast,
“I would recommend - great location”
Great location. Friendly knowledgeable reception team. Room was clean and comfortable (cathedral bells ring throughout the night and can be heard but that was not issue for me)
“Perfect location & great hotel”
Lovely boutique family run hotel in the most convenient location to most of the attractions. Plus close to so many restaurants and bars. Marco checked us in and was so warm and friendly. Great asset to the family. Gave us plenty of recommendations for a late night bite to eat due to the late flight and he was very very informative. Breakfast was very very good value however the staff dealing with the breakfast on the terrace could not speak a word of English so there was confusion with our order.
“Central, charming and distinctive hotel”
We were delighted with this hotel. I chose it for its central location (between the cathedral and the Setas modern installation), courtyard feel - although glass-ceilinged now - and detail everywhere. We walked everywhere other than arriving and final departure. My teenage sons weren't delighted to have to share a giant double bed but it was enormous. Breakfast is informal and arrives as quickly as it can be carried up to the terrace by one person, but is varied and includes grated tomato and jamon, and Ines do Rosales biscuits. We had a top floor room with a terrace that is cool in the mornings but sun-facing in afternoon/evening. Loved hearing all the sparrows, bells and general city hubbub. It's slightly scruff in places but nothing to really be bothered about given the age and charm of the property. The ceramics shop on the street front, with incredible tiling, is exceptional.
