“Definitely worth a visit”

The best

Nice architecture, mix from old and new. Diner at the restaurant was very good, very friendly staff, short menu but local products and very tasty, kitchen with food quality above average. Thanks Valentin for your recommendations.

To be improved

Some spots were not clean. We can talk about a glass or a knife as well as of a corner in the bathroom. That’s just a pity. It is not that things are not cleaned but not really checked or done thoroughly.

“Lovely setting and great location before catching the ferry from Santander. A beautiful and interesting building · Cons: It was an extremely hot day and there was no air conditioning. Although the room did cool at night with the windows open. The waiter that evening had an off-putting attitude 😒”

“A unique and beautifully stylish boutique hotel close to some lovely towns and walks.”

The junior suite we staying in was amazing -- so stylish and it had a twin rain forest shower and a wooden tub at the end of the bed for bathing! The public areas and gardens were equally good -- with stone arches and a terrific library with one glass wall.

To be improved

The bed could have been better -- it was two singles pushed together. The WiFi was a little patchy during our stay.
