A pleasant stay, booked at the last minute on booking.com. Convenient for an overnighter on the Camino if you do not want to stay in Santander. The air conditioning unit was much appreciated as Europe was in the grip if a heatwave.

“Very friendly check in staff. Good size bedroom and beds and they were very comfortable. Excellent bathroom with shower over full sized bath and great shower pressure. Would recommend the bar across the road as hotel only served breakfast. . · Cons: Couldn't get the rain shower head working but no biggie as everything else worked fine. Lots of mosquitos. It could do with a fumigate.”

It was too far off the Camino del Norte for us - we should have checked closer. It’s an older hotel…very dark, dim, old feeling.

“The hotel is ok. Friendly staff, I think it is a family business. Some restaurants close. So for some nights for work it is ok. · Cons: The breakfast. Better to indicate there is no breakfast of not for people who come from more North then France. A croissant and a coffee is not enough. They serve with pleasure, but it is just too limited for a full day on the job.”
