“Very easy to find on the edge of town but only a short walk into the very picturesque old town. A lovely room with an incredible view and a rooftop terrace bar which looked out over the same valley. Secure garage parking for our motorcycle, what's not to like!! Friendly and helpful staff made this a very enjoyable stay. Would certainly stay here again. · Cons: Nothing!!”

“Superb location and front of house staff, sadly failed by poor management”

The best

The staff we met were, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, extremely helpful and friendly. However their job is made a lot more difficult by the lack of maintenance and competent management throughout the hotel. Our breakfast, which we had paid for, was cancelled on our first morning, and we were given different reasons for this by the staff. We had to take a very firm stance to get any reduction in our costs and were initially offered 5 euros, the price of two cups of coffee. The website was showing a restaurant available in the evening, but we were told, on arrival, that it would be closed for a month. (Luckily there are some good restaurants within a few minutes walk. Every day during our stay our room key failed to work at least once, requiring repeated visits to reception to have it reset. We waited nearly an hour in our room, on arrival, waiting for a member of staff to make the safe work. All of her valiant efforts failed and we had to repack our cases and move to another room. We then went to the rooftop pool to relax, only to find the pool floor dirty and only one jet working. The area surrounding was littered with cigarette ends and empty drinks cans. This situation remained the same throughout our stay. Be aware that the bedrom 'balcony' is little more than an extended window ledge. Having said that, the location, peacefulness and views were fantastic and, as long as you are prepared to tolerate these blips, this is the ideal spot from which to explore Baeza, or travel to the surrounding area. The town centre is only 10 minutes gentle walk away, with excellent restaurants etc.

“We stayed here for the night as part of a long trip. The hotel is OK, I wouldn't say it is good enough for a 4 stars but it is correct for the price. The views are really nice. · Cons: Rooms are a bit outdated, and there isn't parking at the hotel.”
