“Nice hotel and Location”

The best

I so wanted to be able to give this hotel 5 stars, however I can only give a full honest review. The building and communal areas (Bar/Restaurant/Patio and Pool areas) are very clean, modern and comfortable. We was made aware of building renovations currently underway at the property, we was prepared for this. The noise problem was unfortunately from the rooms next door and above, when furniture in the room is moved it is extremely noisy (Heavy wood furniture on ceramic tiled floors) this would start as early as 7.30am and could go on for a couple of hours, the noise is unbearable when the cleaners are moving the beds, there can't be any soundproofing. You can here suitcases being wheeled across the tiled floors early hours of morning. You can here the neighbouring rooms 'Activities' also. This is the building and I cant come up with a solution to this noise other that different flooring and soundproofing. The Room. Clean, tidy, large comfortable bed, TV, desk/dressing table, Fridge, large terrace overlooking pool. The room lacked either a full length mirror or a mirror above the desk/dressing table. The only mirror is in the bathroom. There are no TV and coffee facilities in the room. Bathroom. Bidet, Toilet, Shower, Sink and Hairdryer with complimentary toiletries. Staff. Very friendly, welcoming and polite. Location. Around a 15 minute walk into Castelldefells town or Station. 5 Minute walk to Promenade/Beach

“Avoid this hotel”

The best

Very disappointed with recent stay. The pool area was not safe, the steps into the pool were lifting up, an accident waiting to happen. At breakfast we found flies on the food which was not covered. Bedding wasn’t particularly clean. We cut our visit short and I was told a refund would be issued by the end of the following week. I am still waiting for the refund almost a month later despite chasing it up. I would not recommend

“Pool was fantastic. Room very clean and comfortable. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. · Cons: A lot of work was being carried out, so it was noisy in the morning. And because our room was at the end next to the scaffolding, we had bits of masonry fall on our balcony. I believe that it's a temporary thing and the hotel did have signs up to apologise. Otherwise, we would have given it 10 out of 10!”

“The pool and pool area were lovely. The hotel itself had some lovely features and has the potential to be an amazing hotel. Just needs a few tweaks · Cons: The breakfast. The hot wasn't hot and the cold wasn't cold. 3 beds were squeezed into the room, so you couldn't use the door to the balcony. It's in a residential area, so no amenities near by. Quite a walk to anything. Didn't really cater for the english. The shower was cold even if you ran it for ages”
