“Great central location”
The best

Great location, right in the middle of the city so you can walk everywhere, I walked from the train station, was all up hill but manageable! Toledo is up and down streets everywhere! Nice sized bed for a solo, small double so I was delighted! Very clean & perfect for a quick stay, good wifi, handy shop close to hotel, would defo recommend

“Perfect in every way!”
The best

I re-discovered this gem of a hotel after having stayed there as a young student in the 1970’s! The Hotel Carlos V is now one of the finest on Toledo. This time I stayed in one of the rooms in the “new” addition: a centuries old palace now beautifully restored with impeccable interior design. Every detail is beautifully considered. The bed was superb. Linens of highest quality. The hotel breakfast was out of this world! And the location….?? Perfectly situated about a block from the Zocodover and the Alcázar end within easy walking distance of all that Toledo has to offer. The hotel even boasts a “taverna” with a wonderful menu of food and drink. I highly recommend the Carlos V!!

“A great place to stay in Toledo”
The best

Beautiful old building on a side street near the main square. The interior was quite spacious and immaculate. Maybe newly re-modelled? My single room was quite large, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful.
