“Good Just for a night”

It was clean and good stop for Congost de Mont Rebei. Shower with hot water worked well.

To be improved

When we arrived there was no one at the reception, so we had to go to the restaurant in front of the street to get the keys after making a phone call. The host had her worker show us the room and didnt inform us of wifi code or anything. The air conditioner wasnt working properly.

“Over priced and terrible disappointment.”

The best

Do NOT take the bottom floor of casa carmen. It is an old sofa bed. The sheets had gritty stuff on them under the blankets. The walls were peeling and the floor was dirty. The only way to cross to the other side of the room was to step on the bed in the middle. There were only 2 sockets- 1 in the bathroom and 1 in the furthest corner of the room which the tv was plugged in to. The shower was tiny and the curtains could not prevent water from splashing out onto the floor. The shower head was old and weak. Hard to find roadside parking. Same key for main door and room door. Which makes me think all the doors have the same key. Overall, if this were 30- 40euros, it would have been ok, but it's 65euros. Without breakfast. The only redeeming factor is that the room was cold, but when I called the hotel owner to increase the heat, he responded immediately.

To be improved

I'm not sure if all the rooms are similarly terrible, but definitely do not take the room on ground level of casa carmen. Wifi signal was zero in the room. But signal was good outside the room. By the way, the hotel reception is at hotel mars.

“Staff were friendly and let us park our motorbikes in their garage for no cost. Nice bar and restaurant. Good location in village. Not much to do but very scenic. Girls serving in the bar were very understanding despite our total lack of Spanish. · Cons: Breakfast pretty basic.”
