“Loved the atmosphere. The place is huge, the rooms are wide and with high ceilings. It has a lot of history attached to it and, if you're interested in it, the host will gladly give you a rundown of the dates of construction, families that lived there, and art styles that influenced the design. I will definitely come back someday. · Cons: The church bells didn't stop the whole night. I had a race the next morning, and I had trouble sleeping with the window open, since my room was directly in front of it.”

“A memorable stay”
The best

The experience of being in such a beautiful building. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, it is a suite. Extremely comfortable bed.

To be improved

It would have been nice to have had coffee making facilities and water available in the room. It is better to stay in warmer weather as some rooms are not heated. There is a heater that can be plugged in in the bathroom but you would only want to do this while taking a bath or shower. The shower base is extremely slippy so be careful.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice historic building and lovely location

To be improved

Breakfast was poor, as there are few quests, it seems the buffet is built up with items from previous days, not to say, old. We would recommend to have an a la carte menu which benefits quests and probably the economy of the hotel. Ps change the light bulbs to one colour and preferably warm white.

“This charming establishment is one of a kind. We found this three years ago and have now returned every summer. It’s beautiful and relaxing, clean and with a wonderful pool. The service is highly professional with personal warmth. Can’t wait to come back soon again!”
