“Nice budget hotel for solo or friends”

The hotel is very nice and super good value for money, it was my 2nd time staying there and I liked it a lot. The kitchen means you can cook your own food, which is super nice if you're travelling on a budget. The city of Puerto is great and a nice location to visit the rest of the island - excellent transports connection, you don't have to rent a car to get to almost all places of interest. For me I wanted to go on remote parts of the island and visit friends living up the mountain so I did rent a car for half of the trip, and used transports the remaining half. I had no issues finding parking at any hour ; but I also don't mind walking a bit. Check around the beautiful Taoro park there's often spaces around here ;) The pool is a great bonus, to wake up in the morning or cool off after a day of hiking and doing sports stuff.

To be improved

The kitchen lacks a little basic cookware and they don't provide you with soap, towels or sponges ; no salt pepper or oil either - you have to buy it for 6 euros at the reception. My room was at 5th floor by the pool, and this isn't the hotels fault but some people woke me up a few times at 8am by going for a swim and screaming their guts off, despite the hotel rules stating that the pool opens at 10am. The hotel is up a hill, for me it was not an issue as im young and fit but some people with mobility difficulties may find it hard to reach by foot from the city center. Appart from that I had a pleasant stay and will probably be back when I come again to Tenerife :)

“Nice hotel could have been 10 out 10 but just a bit more effort needed to”

Breakfast was good plenty of choice but on my last morning they said I had to go to another hotel about 5km away the kitchen was broken a lame excuse they couldn't be bothered opening up the kitchen for me wasn't offered a refund or a cold breakfast I would have given them more if it wasn't for that The swimming pool was on the roof and was heated that was a pleasant surprise very nice

To be improved

Very steep hill going to town no problem on the way back you better be fit. The hospital is nearby in case you collapse. A taxi is about €5 factor that into your cost
