“Brilliant location - colourful and friendly hotel”

The best

Our room was actually overlooking the Mezquita - could almost touch it from our window. Lovely room, excellent location and the staff were friendly and helpful. We did not eat in as there were plenty of options (breakfast / lunch / dinner) locally and the dining room looked a little chilly! Excellent and inexpensive and with the Mezquita and Roman bridge a very short walk away.

“Fabulous!”

The best

All staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful. We didn't have breakfast so l can't comment. The room was overlooking the Mezquita & small square in front of the hotel. It was fabulous, clean with a great bag of toiletries & essentials to use. Remember the hotel is a 2* so therefore no tea/coffee making facilities & no fridge. I think sometimes people don't understand how the star rating works. There are some great restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend & hope to return soon.

“Unbelievable!❤️”

The best

This little hotel is a gem ! The rooms are small but clean and very comfortable.. right beside the cordoba mosque and cathedral . The hallways are like a museum… so many old paintings and artifacts ! Wow ! If you love history and fabulous food .. come here to this hotel .. 10s of excellent restaurants within a couple minutes walk !

“Tour group”

The best

Location is the best. We were on a Rick Steves tour of Andalusia and started in Cordoba. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Owners have a massive collection or art and antiques. Breakfast was good. Just a little dated, but you would expect that.

“This Hotel has the Potential of a 5 Star Hotel….with a few minor changes.”

This is a lovely, clean, ideally located hotel. There were many amenities that were lacking. First, there was no fridge in the room There was no Coffee, Tea, Cups or Kettle for a morning coffee in the room We asked if we could buy a Coffee from their cafeteria in the morning. The receptionist said we could have coffee with the Breakfast Buffet which cost 14 Euros…..but we could NOT buy a cup of coffee only….we had to buy the Breakfast Buffet to get a coffee (Thankfully there is a small restaurant right out front that will sell you a coffee to go, or to drink at their tables right out front of the Hotel Mezquita) We could not buy Ice from the hotel cafeteria There were no Luggage Stands in the room for suitcases, we used the desk stool and lounge sofa for our suitcases Our room was spacious that had space for a small fridge, a couple of folding luggage stands Upon arrival there were only two paper cups in the bathroom, we asked the cafeteria staff to give us two water glasses, which they gave us. The ground floor is overstuffed with various sizes of dark wood antique furnishings and a number of Candelabras, Knick knacks, various Glass objects….a mishmash of a collection. It could be tastefully displayed…but this is in excess. We would have loved to give this gem of a hotel 5 out of 5…but it lacked too many amenities. Staff her are very helpful, attentive and friendly.
