“Disappointing”
Good location, close to the promenade and beaches, and easy to reach from Alicante city centre by tram. The hotel overall feels quite run down, and fairly basic. The bedroom was also quite basic and not very attractive. Hotel bar was closed by 2230, so the vending machine on the road outside was the only option for a bottle of water. Breakfast was really poor. Poor choice, poor quality, and hot items were cold.
“Faulty Towers, some staff very rude. Noisy”
Awful! Faulty Towers and if I could give a zero rating I would. I don't normally write reviews but I feel i have to. Booked a double classic room for single occupancy. On arrival was told my request of low floor not possible. Were were in february and they werent fully booked but though well ok. To get to the room and it be a shoebox with not what I call a balcony, but was clean (that was the only positive). There was a LOT of building work and a lot noise. After 2 nights of no sleep due to noise from outside of the hotel (building work) at 6am I rung reception to ask to change room. I was met with the night person being very rude. I was asked to go down so had to get dressed and go to reception. I was met by a man and woman from the back office the guy told me if I wanted a room change i pay for it. As I pointed out I'd already paid for a classic room and been shoved in a single room. The woman said "I need to go now and get my sleep" so I said try coming on holiday and paying for no sleep where is your customer service. No manager next 2 days to speak to. Dont pay for breakfast here the hotel is tired and you are put in what looks like a back room and if you're a solo traveller dont stay here. You'll get treated like a 2nd class citizen. I travel a lot and this place is poor, could even hear the noise in the bathroom. My entire stay i was left knackered due to no sleep on a 3 night stay. Never again was glad to leave
“Very rude general manager”
Horrible experience. Stuff's attitude was rude and arrogant, when we said that hotel doesn't meet our expectations : the pillows are horribly hard and uncomfortable and constant smell of a smoke from neighbors room. The food in restaurant are poor and expensive comparing to local bars and restorants around.
“Great hotel and so close to the beach”
I recently stayed here and found all the staff and facilities great. Less than 2 minutes walk from the beach and local bus stop directly outside.
“Everything was perfect! The room was very clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent – close to everything we needed. Highly recommended!”

“Costa tirement home”
On arrival the quality and look of the hotel was very disappointing and not as advertised. It seemed like the hotel Castilla Alicante is for senior citizens. This isn't the standard that I expected from 3 stars Spanish hotel, more like Bulgaria.
