“Magnificent castle setting and room”
The best

Both the rural setting and our suite with tower terrace were magnificent. The staff were universally charming and helpful. We felt really looked after. The restaurant food was lovely.

To be improved

A couple of niggles - electric skylight blind not working and heated towel rail was not working.

Fantastic Castillo, we booked an amazing room in one of the turrets which was super warm and comfortable, terrific hot shower in gorgeous bathroom, fabulous food and wonderful staff, easy secure parking .. we loved it! A very special place to stay ♥️

Beautiful atmosphere and stunning views. Lovely feel about it and well presented. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, many choices and so much food!

“Overall, a delightful hotel in unusual setting with good restaurant and friendly staff.”
The best

Hotel is a restored medieval castle set in lovely grounds. Our room was in the original tower which also had a roof terrace with great views over the surrounding countryside. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly and spoke good English. We had dinner in the restaurant: good food well presented and served by a delightful friendly waitress. Breakfast was typical Spanish continental breakfast with bread, croissants, fruit, cold meats and cheese.

To be improved

Bathroom not ideal. A very small washbasin. Bath with shower over, for which curtain had been set behind taps and caused a minor flood when we failed to realise the problem. Car park some distance from reception so had to carry our luggage.
