“Great boutique hotel in an unbeatable location”

The best

Beautiful boutique hotel, in a perfect location within a couple of minutes of the main railway station in Valladolid. Very close to the main park (which is well worth a visit) and within easy walking distance of the town. Rooms are not huge, but are fine for a short visit and are equipped with a small wardrobe, a mini-bar and a safe. Buffet breakfast is excellent, staff are friendly (and speak English much better than I speak Spanish), and the hotel has some wonderfully quirky design touches. If you're visiting as a tourist, the information centre and tourist bus stop are both located on the same street. Worth mentioning that some bathrooms have glass walls - ask for a different one if you're not comfortable with whoever you're travelling with seeing you use the toilet!

“A Gem of a Hotel Near the Train Station”

The best

I found my accommodations to be comfortable and quiet. The staff members - particularly those who staffed the reception area - were very helpful and timely in addressing my needs (eg, storing luggage, using elevator, turning on the lights in the room). I also took advantage of outdoor dining in the evening - the food was delicious, one of the best salads I have ever tasted.

The best

The reception staff are always super welcoming and their English is excellent, which is helpful because my Spanish leaves a lot to be desired. We didn't have breakfast there because we know the area quite well and prefer to have a walk and sit outside to eat and have a coffee (if the weather is warm especially) - But it has a nice breakfast/coffee area. The hotel is modern and beautifully clean. The rooms are always lovely and the beds comfy. This time we upgraded to a city view which is really quite lovely, overlooking the monument and the park. The hotel is within a couple of minutes of the train station. Superbly located for the train in and out of Valladolid, with the fast train to/from Madrid really easy. Its; a few minute walk from the shopping area and Plaza Mayor with excellent restaurants and tapas bars.

To be improved

There's nothing to dislike. However, for the purposes of an all-round review I would note the bathroom in our room was partly clear glass. It's a nice looking bathroom with a good shower and generally spacious, but may not be to everyone's privacy taste? There is a bar to have a drink, but not late into the evening when arriving back. Again, not a negative, just an observation. There aren't tea/coffee making facility in the room, which is something I quite enjoy, but wouldn't stop me booking there again. There is a decent mini bar with snacks etc.

Staff we very welcoming, lovely room and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great too! excellent location, close to the train station. Very clean hotel with good facilities. Would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

“High standard and top class Staff”

The best

Stayed here with my Daughter for 4 nights during the Dance World Cup held in Burgos. Great location for walking to both the city centre and rail (high speed) and bus stations. The breakfast buffet was spot on and everything was fresh and very good quality. The rooms are very clean and modern and have everything you need. The standard is high. The stand out though are the Staff here. Very helpful, really polite and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.
