“On site parking. Very warm welcome by reception staff. The room was basic but in keeping with the traditional decor of the building. The shower room was new and a nice surprise. The breakfast was excellent, fresh and plenty of choice. · Cons: We were advised on arrival that the hotel restaurant was not open which was a disappointment. But there are plenty of restaurants in the area.”

Friendly small hotel -comfortable rooms, very clean. Short walk into the centre of Santillana. Easy parking. Great breakfast.

To be improved

There is a main road in front of the hotel which is quite busy during the day but quiet at night.

The best

The room was spacious and clean. Great location with parking and an easy stroll into town. As a bonus, the breakfast buffet was excellent including fresh fruit and freshly cooked eggs and bacon.

To be improved

No air-con - I'm not normally that bothered but it was particularly hot for the time of year. Luckily, we had two windows we could open in the late evening to get some cooler air through.
