The staff at Convento del Giraldo went above and beyond during our stay! From the welcoming front desk team to the attentive housekeeping staff who kept our room impeccable, and the friendly restaurant staff serving delicious local cuisine, every interaction was warm and professional. Their helpfulness truly enhanced our experience in this historic gem of a hotel. The room was large, the decor dated but we knew that before arriving so were prepared. The location and views are stunning. Exactly what we had hoped to experience.

Location very good. The room was clean. I had great view to the mountain and the town.

To be improved

The breakfast was quite disappointing – very limited options, and the scrambled eggs were bland and tasteless. There was also a clear lack of staff: only one waitress trying to handle all the tables, and one person behind the bar, while the restaurant was full. It felt chaotic and understaffed. The air conditioning couldn’t cool down the room – it simply wasn’t strong enough for the room’s size. I think What you’re really paying for is the location. The hotel desperately needs more staff and a serious update. No way is 4 Stars.

Alicia on reception very helpful when we asked to change rooms. Breakfast not particularly good Coffee good Gastrobar good in evening

Room 402 was too small because of the wooden beam and too hot at night One receptionist did not speak English
