“we enjoyed our stay and the staff were helpful, the property was clean, we would visit again”

the location was what we expected, the staff very helpful considering the language differences.

To be improved

we were told we could park in a certain place, but day before leaving we were advised that this was private property for another hotel in the area. it gave us the impression that the two hotels did not have a good relationship with each other. I would suggest that the Hotel Cosgaya has a welcome pack in several languages advising where their customers can park, emergency exits as we found out on the last day of stay that we were locked into the hotel. They provided us with a map when arrived but not in english. In our visit to Spain we understood the language would be an issue and we tried our best for the basics, but in other areas we visited, there were leaflets in many languages to help visitors enjoy their stay

Hotel was quite modern and personnel very friendly. Diner and breakfast were of good quality. When going to northern spain, be prepared that only very few peopel speak english, make sure Google Translate is on your mobile. The hotel as on a main road, so expect to hear cars passing by during the night, but when exhausted, no issue.

Staff had very limited grasp of English.”
