“Economic staying very close to bus station”

The Cosmos hotel is an economic, yet very comfortable hotel right next to the bus station of Tarragona (where you will get out if you take the bus from the high speed train station or the airport) within 10 minutes from the historic center of Tarragona (parte alta). The room was small, yet it had all the amenities. The balcony was amazing so the room was always full of natural light. There was a small yet comfortable table and good wifi, so remote work is also possible. They offer breakfast on demand.

The best

Although their English was limited the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The Hotel is situated just around the corner from the base of Rambla Nova, the main "promenade" in the centre of Tarragona, providing easy access to cafe's, restaurants and other facilities. The bus station is 2 minutes walk and the bus journey to Reus Airport less than 20 minutes although buses are somewhat infrequent. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, wifi and smart TV were provide but, the bathroom could do with a little updating. As a solo traveler I felt at ease and well looked after and would considr staying there again.

To be improved

There is a school next door to the hotel so a little noisy when the children were in the playground. Also,being close to the main roads, a little noisy late at night.

Lovely little hotel, very affordable! And great rooms, cleanliness, facilities and friendly staff. Close to town center and train station. Overall great experience.
